Q: Do you have a favorite nonprofit or focus area that you like to support? A: Childbirth and Parenting Assistance (CAPA) Program is one of my favorite programs. I am very passionate about their efforts to break generational cycles of abuse and poverty and help parents learn how to build healthy relationships with their children.
Q: Who or what inspires you?
A: The people in our community that are working day in and day out to make a difference inspire me. I love the Nonprofit Connect sessions that WHWF puts on to learn more about these programs and the great work being done in our community.
Q: Why did you become a member of the new Collective Giving Community? A: I wanted to be able to make more of an impact within our local community. Through our new Collective Giving Community, I am able to learn about local nonprofits and volunteer opportunities, feel connected with others who want to make a difference, and have a voice in the areas I believe have the highest need in our community.
