Evening of Gratitude

Last Friday, our Evening of Gratitude was a true testament to the power of women supporting women. Our Executive Director, Heather Hamlin, kicked off the evening by leading a celebratory toast to the record-breaking $363,000 awarded this year to local organizations!

We also took a moment to acknowledge and honor the incredible dedication of our Board members, volunteers, donors, and non-profit employees who continue to lift up our community.

A big thank you to STCU and all of our sponsors for making this event possible. Traci McGlathery of STCU shared heartfelt remarks about how their commitment to “Here for Good” aligns perfectly with our mission.

The evening also highlighted the impactful work of Spokane Helpers Network. Our guests generously contributed essential items like shampoo, conditioner, razors, and feminine hygiene products for their donation drive, making a direct difference for families in need.

One of the most exciting moments was the reveal of our keynote speaker for Give Like a Woman 2025: Mariana Atencio! Mariana, a Peabody award-winning journalist and TEDx sensation, will inspire us all next May. Mark your calendars for May 21, 2025—this will be a can’t-miss event!

We ended the night on a high note with raffles for some gorgeous Kate Spade bags, generously sponsored by local businesses, and raised additional funds for the Vivian Winston Scholarship program, which supports local mothers balancing education and childcare costs.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and supported our mission to create lasting change. We are so proud of what we’ve accomplished together and can’t wait for what’s to come!
