We also provided a $500 InstaGrant to MiA - Mujeres in Action for Circulo de Apoyo. It is the first support group in Spanish for Latinx women in Spokane with a focus on building resilience and providing tools to women, some of which may be survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
It's a group where women can build community, learn from each other and share in the immigrant experience. It's a safe space to grow.
