2020 Event Update
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we had to make the tough decision to cancel our Annual Luncheon this year, but we aren't letting social distancing stop the great assistance we've provided over the past 28 years. We have decided to go digital by creating the Women Helping Women Resiliency Campaign! Proceeds will provide flexible resources to local organizations working with women and children who are disproportionately impacted by this crisis.
Just as with our Annual Luncheon, we need volunteers and supporters to help us reach our $300,000 goal for this campaign.
Attendance has risen from 700 at the first luncheon to as many as 2,350 women and men. Donations have increased from $64,000 in 1993 and broke all records with $336,000 in 2012. Luncheons have been hosted since WHWF's founding in 1992 and since then WHWF has provided over 500 grants totaling close to $6 million to assist thousands of women and children throughout Spokane County.
Table captains are an integral part of our yearly luncheon. Table Captain information is released each year in February. For more information about being a table captain ,please contact our office.
