Women Helping Women Fund promotes women’s philanthropy and raises money to support community programs that help women and children realize their full potential. We proudly partner with grantees in Spokane County to provide responsive, community-based programming to build stronger home for all.

We believe that a healthy community requires strong programs and services in a variety of areas. Grants are awarded each Spring and are selected based on the cumulative voting of the collective giving members.
Focused Funding Areas:

Early Childhood Education and Childcare- Accessible resources and services that provide foundational learning experiences for children outside their own home before kindergarten.

Education K-12- Pioneering opportunities and solutions that foster greater student engagement and learning.

Family/Domestic Violence Resources- Support and resources to inform and strengthen domestic violence intervention and prevention efforts.

Family Support Programs- Community-based services that assist and support caregivers and children.

Financial Education- Equipping individuals with knowledge and skills to achieve financial literacy for sustained independence.

Food & Nutrition Security- Initiatives ensuring equitable access to nutritious food that supports a healthy and active life.

Housing Assistance and Services for the Unhoused- Supportive services and resources for safe and affordable housing and homelessness support.

Mental Health Services- Mental health services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Senior Services- Supportive services that honor the dignity and diversity of older adults at different stages of their lives.
